EMPLOYEE BACKGROUND CHECKS

We stand behind our employees work and behavior. You are hiring the Agency, not just an employee to work directly for you. Community Homecare does FBI criminal background checks on all employees having direct patient care. All employees are bonded by a fidelity bond.

MULTIPLE CAREGIVERS AVAILABLE

We have a ready pool of qualified employees to fill any shift. If, for any reason, the caregiver that is scheduled to provide your care is not acceptable to you, we have many other employees that can be sent to your home to provide the care you need.

COMPLETE STAFF ORIENTATION & ANNUAL TRAINING

All staff receive a detailed orientation on patient care and accepted policies and procedures. All staff receive continuing education on an annual basis in order to learn new skills and to reassess understanding of their duties and responsibilities.

ONGOING QUALITY REVIEWS

We continually conduct reviews within our organization to ensure that our services provided are of the highest quality. We seek feedback from our patients, physicians and staff to assess their perception of the quality of the services we provide. In addition, we are evaluated by the Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS) Home Health Care Survey, as directed by Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), who is the federal oversight agency. We are audited numerous times each year by each of the payors, from whom we receive payment for services. These audits are done to make certain we are in compliance with the various regulations and procedures governing our provision of services.
